Tree working injured while cleaning storm damage from Isaias

Morris Township, NJ – 58-year-old Jody Terwilliger died while working to clean up storm damage left by Tropical Storm Isaias.

Reports say that Terwilliger was working in a wooded area around 9:11 AM when he was struck by a falling tree branch.

Emergency personnel performed CPR before he was transferred to Morristown Medical Center, where he died of his injuries. 

Capt. Richard Shearer stated that Terwilliger was from Shohola, Pennsylvania and an employee of Nelson Tree Service.
