A middle aged man was cutting down a tree when a large branch fell on him and the cherry picker he was using to remove the tree. The branch hit the cherry picker and knocked the man unconscious trapping him about 20 feet in the air. The force from the branch bent the cherry picker, and made the machine inoperable. It took first responders over an hour before they were able to remove the man from the bucket of the cherry picker. When the branch fell on top of the machine, it took down electric wires and pulled the cherry picker closer to them. Rescuers had to wait for Utilities Kingston to shut off the power. The man was rescued from the boom and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
