Worker hospitalized after crane overturns in West Orange, New Jersey

West Orange, NJ – Emergency personnel rescued a man who was trapped in a crane after it tipped while helping a private tree company. The accident occurred around 4 PM Friday afternoon. There are no specific details on how or why the crane tipped but it did take down power wires. The operator was extracted from the machine about 40 minutes after the accident and was transported to University Hospital in Newark. He reportedly suffered a broken leg and large cut to his back.
