A woman from Chilton County was sent to the hospital after partially severing her hand in a wood chipper. The woman was out on her tractor doing some work at a farm when her hand was injured by the chipper. She walked to nearby Fab Weld Shop to seek help. When fist responders arrived they saw that the woman lost 4 of her fingers. She was airlifted to the hospital where she is in stable condition.
