Jackson, MI – Two people were injured when the boom of the bucket truck they were in collapsed. According to the reports, two men, who worked for Heinz Tree Services & Landscaping, were cutting down a tree near the Jackson College’s baseball diamond. The men were in the boom about 30 feet in the air when the top boom came crashing down. The over-center tubular boom failed, presumably, from the rotating mechanism that operates the top of the boom. When emergency personnel arrived they found the men conscious and alert. They were rushed to Henry Ford Allegiance Health.
