Tree worker seriously injured after being struck by truck

Harrisburg, PA – An unidentified tree worker was seriously injured after he was run over by a tree trimming truck.

Police said the tree-trimming truck, which was supposed to remain stationary, rolled forward, striking the worker.

The truck was quickly stopped, but not before the worker suffered serious injuries.

Arriving officers applied a tourniquet to the man’s leg to control the bleeding. He was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment.
