Tree worker responding to downed tree slips while getting into bucket

Carver, MA – A 33-year-old Rhode Island man was injured when he fell. The employee of Stanley Tree Service was responding to a call for a downed tree. When he attempted to get into the bucket of the boom truck he lost his footing, slipped, fell and hit his head. A police officer that was already on the scene blocking the road saw the accident and immediately called for an ambulance. The man was rushed to the hospital with head trauma and facial injuries. He was alert and talking despite his serious injuries.
