Tree worker dies after he falls out of a bucket truck

Kansas City, KS44-year-old Mikey Reynolds was rushed to the hospital after he fell from the platform of a bucket truck.

Reports say that Reynolds was working on removing a tree when the platform of the bucket truck separated from the boom. Reynolds was not wearing a safety harness and fell approximately 60 feet.

A witness told police that Reynolds was trying to trim a branch that looked like it was going to hit or fall on a home. Police believe he was trying to use the boom to move the tree limb itself.

Reynolds was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead at around 2 PM.

A report stated he worked for Alumbaugh Tree and Paving out of Buckner, Missouri.
