Tree worker dies after being struck by a tree in Sudbury

Sudbury, MA – A 26-year-old Everett man was struck and killed by a falling tree in Sudbury.

According to reports, the man was contracted to do tree work at a home in the rural area. At around 2:30 PM a tree fell and pinned him to the ground.

Emergency personnel rushed to the scene but Sudbury Police Chief Scott Nix stated¬†the victim’s “injuries were not survivable.”

First responders administered CPR to the victim before transporting him to Emerson Hospital in Concord, where he was later pronounced dead.
