Tree service worker treated for electrical burns in Millcreek

Erie, PA – A 37-year-old man is being treated for electrical burns after a tree service truck hit a power line. According to police, the tree company hit a power line with its bucket truck and caused the truck to become energized. The victim was in close proximity to the wood chipper attached to the truck and was shocked by the current flowing through the vehicle. He was thrown to the ground. The injured man was taken to UPMC Hamot and later transferred to Pittsburgh Medical Center for treatment of electrical burns.
