saw this 2 years ago, havent seen any one selling them yet. why is drip line always so far out of touch with things in the arbor industry? i thought it was your job to keep us informed...lol.... nothing but crap lately...

They may just be a lil easier on live trees than the standard gaff. The design wouldn't sever as much cambium.

Lmao...that was brutal....hope its coming down, cause he put 2x as many gaff holes into the tree...lol

Why is he doing a spike tap dance all over a live tree? Way to get professional arborist interested.

?twice the exposure for gaffing yourself in the leg??

Must be nice having someone top rope for you so you can destroy a tree

Dan Hinde Darren Evans get a couple of sets for the lads! Only £4K a pop! 🙈

Very little info about the actual spike itself. What’s the advantage?

Why spend that much when I could order the double spikes ppl say suck? Won't get either.

No. Just no.

Not necessary

This is the hilarious moment a man gets himself stuck up a tree after sawing off a branch with a chainsaw results in the branch crashing into his ladder.

Now imagine if he was cutting from the ladder like we've seen so many times before, at least he's stranded and not paralyzed.

Where do these mutants come from and what really is going thru there small minds.....@-@ Leave it to the professionals (Arborists) who pay 💰 for school and actually enjoy there Jobs and trees in general I wish the government would really crack down on these nobody's who perform "hack" Jobs This kinda thing drives me nuts

Let him sit up there awhile to think about how lucky he is to of not killed him self and how he shouldn't be doing this because he clearly doesn't know

Moment Man is a real shitty superhero.

Probably calls himself a "climber"...

Autumn is a good time to identify ash trees. Over the next few years, all ash trees in New Jersey will die from infestations of the tree-killing pest, the emerald ash borer. Identify and treat or cut down your ash tree now, before it endangers your family and home. Learn more: www.emeraldashborer.nj.gov ... See MoreSee Less

I wouldn't trust this. It's designed to make money for people who gain from this sort of senseless deforestation. Various states tried the same approach with Dutch Elm's disease in the 70s and a lot of trees were senselessly killed. Other states assessed the health of trees instead and are much better forested as a result. Remember it's easier to destroy than create.

What a load of shit. Blanket felling/dismantling of an entire species as a pre-emtpive strike against the pathogen is senseless and will only serve to wipe out any specimens that may be naturally resistant, and dont tell me that wouldn't happen because its happening here in the uk with chalara fraxinea wiping out our ash trees. Dont get me wrong, this pathogen is fucking our ash trees up like nobody's business, but with close monitoring of individual specimens that are known to be suffering, and the subsequent takedown of those affected ONLY after the pathogen has become terminal we have been able to observe natural resistance in a percentage of those affected, its small, but its there and from these resistant trees we are hoping for and trying to get a comprehensive understanding of how a resistance to the pathogen works, and from that, hopefully, save the species as a whole. Chopping them all down without rhyme or reason to 'protect your homes and families' is just scaremongering and unnecassery when closely monitoring your trees will tell you everything you need to know about how to proceed, someone with a good eye for advertisement is being a greedy cunt and having you guys on. If a tree is dangerous and next to or on your property then absolutely do whats necassery, even if that means getting the whole tree taken down then thats what you have to do, but dont get rid of the the lot just because some daft cunt said so.

Up here in Ottawa, Canada, EAB has been around for several years. Like others have mentioned the only healthy looking ash are younger trees. They seem to be vigorous enough they can easily outgrow minor infestation. There have been thousands cut down but there is plenty more left. People are ignorant about it too. I see stone dead ash with 30cm limbs breaking off and some leaning over houses. Much easier and safer to deal with when they're still a bit green! Crispy ash is awful to work with.

WE have been dealing with EAB for quite some time in Indiana and about all are gone or show severe signs of infection now. The only ones that will make it are the seedlings not big enough to be infested now. It is coming to a state near you.

Why would you cut it down prior to infestation? That's some propaganda. If the trees dying sure, but wait till the problem hits. I'm sure some of these trees won't get infested. When the big findings of ALB came around Worcester years ago we only cut down the trees infested with the insect, not all the ones without. Fuck this senseless post.

The EAB has been around for over 20 years in Michigan and there are still live Ash trees there according to a friend that lives there

Between ash yellows disease and eab in ma and ct, the ashes are pretty much gone here. It's very rare to see an ash larger than 20" dbh with a full, healthy canopy.

I only have seen it one time 50 miles north of me in So. IL. The customer had planted 60+ white ash trees given to her from the forestry program years ago. 24 died previously from EAB and I cut down another dozen infested with them. Nearly ever remaining ash tree in her yard had it too.

Yeah, let’s not present the public with Fact and Science and the Developing Observations, let’s just pimp slap them fear and emotion.

Take a drive along the Ohio turnpike and see what the ash borer does. Dead trees are a hazard and harder to cut down.

This is absolutely retarded.

California are still alive and well

We have cut down about 90% of the ash trees in the municipality I work for. Great firewood!

It's just one thing after another with these ash trees

Simon Champness Howard must have been to America

EAB will go for the green ash first. Easy Id

Money Making Slam Ad. wtf

All dead in West Virginia
