Tree limb falls on worker in Charles County, MD

A 53 year old logging worker was working in the woods near Johnsontown Road in La Plata when a part of a tree he was felling hit him. Emergency crews arrived to find the worker on his back complaining of back pain and numbness in his legs. The incident happened around 9:45 am and he was airlifted to Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly.

A name has not been released.
