Raleigh, NC – A tree worker was trapped up a tree for over an hour when a limb trapped his arm against the tree. Rescuers found him dangling 35 feet in the air.
Wake New Hope Fire Department Chief Lee Price said getting him down was not easy.
“He cut the limb and the limb actually pinned his arm against the tree,” Price said. “It was about an 8-inch and it covered this whole area (of his arm). And he was pinned up in the tree and didn’t have any other way of him holding on besides his hand and him pinned by that arm.
The worker was checked out for possible arm and shoulder injuries. Several departments responded to help free the man, including a local tree service.
