Tree climber rescued after being stuck upside down in a palm tree

San Diego, CA – An unidentified tree climber in his 40s was rescued by firefighters after becoming stuck upside down in a palm tree.

According to reports, firefighters arrived at the scene around 8:15 AM to a report of a tree climber stuck 30 feet in the air. Crews worked for around 20 minutes to free the man from the tree.

Once on the ground medics took him to Sharp Memorial Hospital for evaluation of complaints of dizziness and nausea.
