Tree climber electrocuted in Land Park

UPDATE 6/5/20: The victim was identified as 42-year-old Liberio Bahena Bravo.

Sacramento, CA – An unidentified tree climber, in his 50s, was electrocuted while climbing a tree on Thursday morning.

According to reports, at 10:42 AM firefighters were called to a report where someone saw a tree on fire. Upon arrival they did not find a fire but a tree worker who was unresponsive and 50 feet up a tree.

Officials believe the worker’s injuries were caused by power lines.

The workers identity has not been reported.
