Warren, MI – 46 year old Brian Kellerman died from injuries sustained when he fell 35 feet out of a tree. Kellerman was pruning trees near utility lines at around 1:30 PM on Monday. He turned around to find Kellerman on the ground. Kellerman was treated at the scene by Warren Fire EMS and transported to St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit where he was declared dead in the emergency room.
Brian Kellerman worked for Kappan Tree Service in Caro. He was hired by DTE through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 17 in Southfield. He was a tree industry veteran with over 20 years of experience.
