Tasmania man killed by falling tree branch

A 24 year old man has died after being struck by a falling tree branch. Two men were felling a tree on private property when the accident happened. The men dropped a tree and it caused a limb to fall out of a nearby tree and struck the worker. It is unclear if the crown of the falling tree brushed another tree and caused it to fall or if the limb was loose and it fell out on impact. The uninjured man called authorities and preformed CPR until they arrived, but there was nothing they could do. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities indicated that the duo had taken precautions to protect themselves with hearing protection and eye protection, but states nothing of head protection (helmet).
