Tapplock develops new smart padlock using fingerprint scanning

Tapplock one+ is a smart padlock that uses a person’s fingerprint instead of traditional keys or combinations.

The smart padlock is paired with Tapplock enterprise and can store and manage up to 500 employees. The software can set custom permissions for users and manage them by groups.

All of the locks can be viewed across a map. Tapplock enterprise can deploy and revoke fingerprints remotely, and set access privileges with 3 ways to unlock: fingerprint unlocking, Bluetooth unlocking, and Morse-Code unlocking.

Users can see timestamps for both when a lock was unlocked and also when it was locked. The free mobile app sends notifications for account-related events.

The locks can last one-year on a charge and are water and weather-proof.
