Relative trimming a tree falls after branch sweeps away ladder

Ramsey, NJ – A 60-year-old man was injured after he fell 30 feet while trimming a tree. The man was visiting a relative and helping cut branches from a tree. During the process, a branch swung down and swept a ladder, that he was using to climb the tree, out from under him. He fell 30 feet sustaining ankle injuries, displaced bones, and injured his arm.

The victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening
