Manchester firefighters rescue tree climber who appeared to lose consciousness

Manchester, CT – An unidentified man was rescued while climbing a tree on Olcott street.

According to a report a 911 call was made about a worker 30 feet up a tree who appeared to be unconscious. Firefighters arrived to find the man conscious and “belted” into the tree.

Manchester firefighters deployed an aerial ladder to help the man down. He was taken to an area hospital.
