Mount Tamborine, AU – Adam Routledge received a gruesome injury when his stump grinder kicked back at him. Routledge, believed to be in his 40’s, was grinding a stump when both of his feet were caught by the machine. The homeowner who employed Routledge said he heard screams and rushed to his aid. The homeowner helped wrap his feet with towels until authorities arrived. The stump grinder tore right through Routledge’s steel toe boots. Paramedics treated Routledge and took him to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable condition with lacerated toes.
