Man injures arm in an accident with chainsaw

A 45-year-old man was taken to UPMC Hamot on Friday afternoon for treatment of a chainsaw wound, according to Erie County dispatch.

It was unknown where the man suffered the wound.

After suffering a severe cut to his forearm, the man was taken at about 3 p.m. to a doctor’s office in the 7200 block of West Ridge Road in Fairview Township. He was evaluated there and transported to UPMC Hamot.
