Man dies after a tree falls on him near Paeroa

Karangahake, New Zealand – An unidentified man has died after being hit by a falling tree.

According to reports Police arrived to the scene around 11:10 AM on a rural property. The initial report was that a tree had fallen and trapped a person.

WorkSafe was notified of the death.
