Lexington, KY – 89-year-old Harold Pulliam died after a large log rolled on top of him. Neighbors and family noticed that Pulliam’s garage was open and his truck was missing. That meant that he did not return home. A neighbor and Pulliam’s grandson went out searching and found his body trapped under a log on the bank of a creek.
Fayette County Coroner reports the cause of death was drowning. He says Pulliam was clearing brush with a chainsaw from the bank of North Elkhorn Creek when a large log fell and rolled onto him, pinning him underwater. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
