Kubota enters the mini-skid market with the SCL1000
Kubota has entered the mini-skid market with the introduction of the SCL1000. The compact skid loader outperformed the Ditch Witch SK1050, Bobcat MT85, and Toro TX1000 in speed, and cycle time at a Kubota Dealer meeting in Texas last October.
Here are some of the specs on the machine;
- Ground Pressure of 4 pounds per square inch
- 35.8” wide ( The wide tracks are positioned under the machine allowing it to be so narrow. )
- 84.7” dumping height with 24.1” of reach
- 5.1 MPH travel speed going forward of in reverse
The SCL1000 is powered by a 24 HP turbocharged diesel engine that ran quieter than the competition. The machine has a keypad starting procedure eliminating the need for a key.
The rollout on this machine will be slow but you can start seeing them at a dealer around April of 2020.
