Port Republic, MD – A tree trimmer who was critically injured in a fall from an undetermined height Monday is expected to survive. The man was trimming trees underneath power lines two miles from Rosemary Drive. He was working as a subcontractor for the utilities vegetation management contractors. The injured worker was flown to a shock trauma center in Baltimore and at last report his condition has stabilized and he is improving.
