Emergency responders fight flooding conditions to save 85 year old man

Mokihinui, New Zealand – An 85 year old was injured when he fell about 13 feet from a ladder. The man was on his farm cutting trees when the accident happened. His wife found him and had to run almost 2 miles in the pouring rain to call for help. Emergency services had to fight heavy rain and flooding conditions to rescue the man. He was airlifted to Greymouth Hospital with serious injuries.
