Vermont man dies in NY logging accident
Altona, NY – 58-year-old David Driscoll died in a logging accident in the woods behind a barn in NY.
Police stated that Driscoll was logging when he was hit by a falling tree. He was found unconscious and not breathing. Driscoll died at the scene.
Troopers said Driscoll died from blunt force trauma to the head. The Clinton County Coroner David Donah ruled his manner of death as accidental.
NYSP and OSHA are still trying to determine what led to Driscoll’s death.
