Choker setters trapped under a large log that rolled down a hill

Lyons, OR – Two choker setters ended up trapped under a large log that rolled down a steep embankment. The incident was reported just after 8 a.m. along a logging road outside of Lyons, Oregon. One man, 48-year-old Terry Gene Nelson, was transported to Legacy Emmanuel Medical Center in Portland where he later died of his injuries. The second victim, 32-year-old Ian Buczko, is in a Stayton, OR hospital with unknown injuries.
