Woodstock, IL – A man, who was cutting down a tree, was airlifted to the hospital after a chainsaw injury left him stranded 40 feet up the tree. The man was performing “landscape services” at the property with two other men when he suffered a leg laceration and was unable to climb back down. He was rescued by the local fire department and the local department of public works. The man was then airlifted to an unknown hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. Authorities identified the man as “a worker” and not a resident of the house where work was being performed. It was also unknown if the man worked for a company.
